Exhaust Hi Temp Foil

Anybody use the stick-on high temp foil tape on their inner fenders where the stinger goes?  Fitment is pretty tight there on the 443 with the Cascade CSFX silencer, and thinking of putting some foil tape on the plastic in this section but have no experience with it.  Anybody use it?  Any recommendations or things to stay away from?

iv been thinking about this also. come time i put my new Full Bores on if that guy melts im going to be pissed.

I used the aluminum back sound deadening for a couple years on one set of plastics. Held up good, kinda slide around a little.

Metal tape that hvac people use works great.  I use it on fenders and the rad hose near the pipe.

Thanks Loren.  Looks similar to the stuff Cascade would sell/use on their stingers.  I've heard it traps moisture though, have you had any issues like that?

Cutting it on the seam & adding hi temp velcro could fix that if there's hi-temp velcro.
