Do you have a pic of the case saver with the stator cover mounted (from the front)? Will the shifter fit on there ok?

Got some good work done this weekend. The motor went in without a hitch, and got the LED 350G pipe all mounted up. Initially it was a pain to mount but once I got it adjusted it fits perfectly and is mounted very solid. Unfortunately the bolt hole on the Laeger headstay doesn't line up with the Sphynx head, but i'll need it for my steering stabilizer

I'm able to get about 3.5in of adjustment out of the pipe but i'll need some longer bolts if I want to go that far. I'm not sure how much of a difference the adjustments will make power wise, but it really helped with fitment of the pipe. It's tough fitting that bigger header through a Laeger narrow frame.

Thats a sexy lookin pipe!!! I'm a little worried about how mine is going to mount up!! I'm liking the build!!
 Thanks Higgy

It's a monster lol. I think it will be perfect and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I think a lot of cases could have been saved if they had this to protect them. Those little aluminum savers don't do squat

I think the case saver was $59.95, it's on UPP's site if you need to check it out

I'm hook-line-sinker on those case savers too.  I love mine.

I do not have a pic of it mounted with the stator cover yet. I'll have one soon. After looking at it closely it looks like it will fit fine

The shifter will definitely fit

I got the stator cover on there yesterday and it fit pretty well. It rubs the case saver slightly, but went on pretty well.

So I mounted up my rear shock to check clearance with my pipe and my worst fear was confirmed....the stinger hits the shock pretty badly.

My buddy @ HMF has my swingarm to weld rotor guard mounts, so when I get a roller i'll get it in there and he can use the pipe bender to make it fit perfectly. I'm lucky to have HMF about 5 minutes from my work

Here's the LED 350G after my buddy @ HMF modified it for me. Really should have told Arlan what frame I had, i'll take the blame for that.

Also fabbed me up a beefy stainless rotor guard

But still wouldn't have been able to make the bend would he since he doesn't have a frame to go by? I want another one of these pipes but that's my only downfall

I may be in the same boat with the shock and headstay....LOL.  Can't wait!  Didn't even think about that.

Tbone07 hope you don't mind.  This is my beat to hell 86 engine but this is what the UPP saver looks like mounted.  And yes I know my chain has seen better days but who cares when you have one of these bad boys installed.

Don't mind at all. Those UPP case savers are the bee's knees, a very good investment

I actually ordered one awhile ago. Very nice... really snug fit. Only problem, I had to swap out the 10mm bolts heads for 8mm bolt heads. I couldn't fit my socket inside the holes.
