Anyone here ever put a 250r motor in a banshee frame? Setup for full drag? Or any opinions on that thought? Just wondering

Of course. I understand that but banshee motors can also be pricy to build... kinda sorta

if you can find a banshee drag frame then its a matter of cutting off brackets for the motor and body plasitcs and welding new engine brackets and body brackets.
guys do this all the time, allot of great looking banshee drag frames are still orig banshee frames in the back half and just get extendedout the front.
nice thing about a banshee frame is they are round tube, I have never seen a good looking drag 250r frame that had been extended.

Yeah. I saw one place that sold them like that They would just modify the stock frame. Im guessing it wouldnt be too hard to put a 250r motor in there right? It would probably just be hard to justify substituting a banshee motor for a 250r motor

When you buy a drag frame they are mostly all the same, except for motor and plastic body mounts, they usually run a small light weight radiator not from a 250r or a banshee.

But you really should Tig weld everything and if this is a problem then just wait until you see a frame setup for a Honda, they are out there but they maybe a little pricer than a frame setup for a banshee just because there are so many.
