So is that what my cover will look like before it's done
Don't have to stress test factory Honda parts. Just those with words spelled in them. Your cover has to withstand 800 degrees in the oven. Not a problem for the cover just a problem for my gloves.

Mine have been cut and so has Jon's. All of my 88-89 pans do not have the pins on them at all.

I was not expecting you to say the unmentionable. I could try to make the 88-89 but my posts are in the way. I will make it up and send for you to try.

No, it's like owning 10 bikes that you never ride and just polish on them. :)

I was not aware the 88 and 89 seat pans have been altered to accept the aftermarket knob type hold down system. I grabbed my 88 fender set and did some measurements. I came up with this fit on the second try.

So these will be available by next week. 85-86 ATC,86-87 TRX and 88-89 TRX. The original plan was to keep them 1/2 the going price of $80. I hope to do these for about $30 with knobs. Will know by next week.

I just had time to get the bolt hole pattern for the 88-89. I cut a hole the same size as the OEM studs to get the rest of the holes in the correct spot without damaging my OEM seat pan. I will post a pick tomorrow of the finished product.

I like the new seat stay.  Looks great.  I would probably drill a small hole through the nut with a piece of cable/wire and secure it so that I didn't loose it.  But that could be done at home
