Anyone ever have to trim out a small section of the seat pan to clear the rear shock tower?  I hear it happens from time to time but wanted to be sure before cutting a hole in a NOS OEM Honda seat...

Gave up on finding a NOS RPM 250R XC axle so I went with their 400ex XC axle.  RPM modified a 250r anti fade (took a hair more than 3/16") so I had plenty of clearance for the snap ring.  Doesn't sound like a lot unless you've tried to run a R anti fade on a 400ex axle.  It worked out perfect like it was meant to be.

The hub to hub measurement is within 3/16" of the stock R.  If you look real close you can see how much room I have to work with now.

Here's the two skid plates I'll be running most of the time.  Scott is building me a new swing arm to accept both this and the traditional protect.  The new swingarm will run a 400ex chain slider instead of the R so it can be changed without ripping the bike apart and I'll be able to run Honda parts.

Looking good. I did have to trim the fenders a little where they contact the upper rear shock mount. The pc wore off a couple of spots quickly also.

Swingarm up close.  Setup to run 400ex chain slide and can run either 450 or 250 skid pan.
