There are so many questions that need to be answered......Is it a complete running motor ? Or pieces ? And what is and isn't included ? What Transmission is used ? I can't see them using the 250R Trans as Parts are Discontinued....but maybe a 450R trans with parts readily available....and it says BOLT into a 450R ? Well what if you want it for a (insert aftermarket chassis here) 250R ? Will it still work ?

I'm sure they'll get enough comments and suggestions to make this the BIG BROTHER the 250R was always missing!

There is a guy in Australia that is putting a cr500 topend on a 450 bottom end. He said it was close to matching up. (Of course a lot of machine work) So if the cases were designed for that top end, I bet that is what they are using.

So is this a 250r based engine? Or did they machine new cases with a counter balancer? Becuase other wise, I dont see the point. Its basically 250r with a saber cylinder.

Offline jwraymond6

No I believe it's a cr500 based motor

See if it is cr500 based. That means machined cases, machined counter balance ect. And all this for 4500? Hard to believe.
